Cattle Herding & Branding - Not included in lodge rental fee
Occasionally seasonal cattle herding & branding activities (Spring) may be available according to ranch operations and availability. Guests who have completed the basic horsemanship training and proven some skill in riding are allowed to participate in an actual cattle-herding activity. Participants will receive further training on how to lead and maneuver cattle – and then be given a chance to practice their new skills on the ranch property. Our master cowboys will lead you on a short cattle drive, moving actual ranch cattle. The cattle herding experience must be registered for well in advance and is subject to availability. Maximum number of riders for one herding activity is 5. The cattle herding experience usually takes about 3 – 4 hours. Cost per rider is $60.00. Please call for availability and scheduling.
