Fastest Route
Depart Salt Lake City…take I-80 East bound 24.1 miles…at exit 146, turn right onto US-40 going Southeast for 13 miles to Heber City…continue on US-40 toward Duchesne 68.5 miles…at Duchesne turn left onto SR-87 N…stay on this road for approx. 25 miles to small town of Altamont (you will notice a grocery store, gas station, jr/sr high school)…go through town, instead of following Hwy 87 to the right when the road splits just outside of town, continue going straight (east) …directly after the road splits from the highway you will turn left (north) on 15000 W…continue north for approx. 3.5 miles on 15000 W… at 7000 N…continue straight (north) about ¾ of a mile on the paved county road, watch for the Hidden Springs Entrance sign on the right…take a right and go about a mile down to the Main Lodge…stay on the main dirt road…you may encounter closed gates – please open and re-close these as you pass

Scenic Route (Summer only Wolf Creek Pass is closed in Winter)
Depart Salt Lake City…take I-80 E. 24.1 mi. toward Cheyenne…exit right onto US-40 E via EXIT 146 toward Heber/Vernal…go East on US-40 4 miles…exit right on EXIT 4 (Park City/Kamas/Francis)…Turn LEFT onto UT-248 towards Kamas/Francis…go east 11.4 miles to Kamas, turn RIGHT onto UT-32/S Main St. Continue to follow UT-32 about 2 miles to the four way stop in Francis… turn LEFT onto SR-35 and continue over Wolf Creek Pass and through Hanna and Tabiona to the junction with SR-87, turn LEFT and travel north 9 miles to 21000 W…turn left onto 21000 W. toward Mountain Home & Moon Lake Recreation Area…go approximately 3 miles to 7000 N. (just past Rock Creek Store) and turn right…continue east on the curvy road until 17000 W. and take a left…travel a short distance until 8000 N. and take a right…continue straight ahead…road turns to dirt at 16000 W…continue east and then around the curve to the south until you see the entrance gate to the Ranch on the left…turn in at the Hidden Springs gate, the dirt road continues about another mile down to the Main Lodge…stay on the main dirt road to the Lodge…you may encounter closed gates – please open and re-close these as you pass.
