Fly Fishing
Loon-brookie-10.07 (1)Hidden Springs Ranch is surrounded by some of the top fly-fishing sites in the entire state of Utah. Avid fishermen will enjoy a day on the Rock Creek, Lake Fork, Yellowstone, or Uintah rivers. These small rivers – all drainages from the Uinta Mountains, hold a variety of trout including Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brown, Brook, and even possibly a few Goldens or Grayling. Fishermen will enjoy relative solitude on these low-pressure waters. All of these rivers are within a 30-minute drive of the Ranch; two of them are much closer than that. Anglers looking for a little bigger water can take a slightly longer drive to the Green, Strawberry, or Duchesne Rivers. Each one of these rivers holds a large number of trophy Brown Trout, as well as Rainbows and Cutthroats.
