Hidden Springs Lodge is one of the most beautiful family reunion and vacation lodges in Utah for a large family to gather and enjoy time together. The summers get booked solid with family gatherings and vacations and it is tough to find an open day in the summer months for a summer family reunion or vacation unless you reserve your dates over a year in advance. The spring and fall weekends are still beautiful weather at Hidden Springs Lodge, the rates are lower, and the availability of dates is better. The weekends in April and May and in the fall months are a great time for families to gather with their loved ones for a family reunion or vacation. Here are some of our favorite activities on the Hidden Springs Ranch in the spring and the fall.
In May and September most afternoons are warm and the swimming pool is a popular location for everyone to gather and play from late morning until evening. The heated pool is a great temperature for everyone in the family to enjoy swimming and playing in the water. In April and October the pool can still be heated for an additional fee and many afternoons are still warm enough to enjoy swimming and playing in the pool. When the days are chilly, or the sun goes down the huge 10-person hot tub is a great place for children to play and adults to relax.
The mild weather in April and May is great for fishing and canoeing on the ranch ponds or shooting clay pigeons at the skeet range. If the weather does turn bad there is an indoor pickle ball and volleyball court and a basketball standard at the recreation center on the ranch. The mild weather is also great for playing games and sports out on the grass in the large backyard. The horseshoe pit, sand volleyball court, and campfire pit are great areas for families to play in the spring and fall.
We hope to see your family at Hidden Springs Lodge this spring or fall for some family vacation fun!
