Hidden Springs Lodge is an amazing facility for groups to gather in the spring and enjoy the mild weather and outdoor recreation. The beautiful, spacious lodge is great for large groups to gather and have both indoor and outdoor activities for everyone in your group. In this blog we will share some of our favorite activities for large groups to enjoy during April and May at Hidden Springs Lodge.
One of the favorite spring activities at Hidden Springs Ranch is enjoying the large backyard. The huge backyard has a great lawn area for playing sports and lawn games. There is also a volleyball and horseshoe area for playing games of volleyball and horseshoes. Groups can also enjoy the large firepit area and have a fire in the evening to roast hot dogs or marshmallows. The backyard pool area is also a favorite spot for families to enjoy time during their stay at Hidden Springs Lodge. During April when the weather is still cool children love to play in the large hot tub and adults enjoy soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. As the weather warms up in May the pool is great fun for groups to play and swim during the warm afternoons.
Large groups staying at Hidden Springs Lodge also have great outdoor activities on the ranch to enjoy during their stay. Fishing and canoeing ponds on the ranch are great for families to enjoy during spring afternoons. Families that enjoy fishing will love to fish the ponds on the ranch and canoe in the mild spring weather. Groups that enjoy hunting will enjoy skeet and target shooting on the ranch during their stay.
Spring is also a great time of year to ride a bike or ATV on the ranch. Groups that enjoy taking a bike or ATV ride will be able to take a ride around the ranch and see the wildlife and baby animals that are common on the ranch during this time of year.
The recreation center on the Hidden Springs Ranch is a great place to play some basketball or volleyball if the weather does get chilly. The large great room on the main floor of the lodge is also big enough for groups to play inside if the weather does turn stormy.
